I am a solo acoustic guitarist and vocalist who brings a diverse mix of genres, everything from country and rock to alternative and pop, spanning from the '80s to modern hits. I also incorporate my original music into performances upon request. I am focused on fun and connection, aiming to create enjoyable and memorable evenings that audiences of any age can appreciate. Whether you're looking to sing along or simply soak in the atmosphere, I'm working hard to deliver an unforgettable experience.
MY MUSIC, MY STORY
My music is something I truly owe to so many talented folks that have gone before me or poured into me as an artist and a friend. It's a bit like me in that, it may not be perfect, but it is heartfelt and intended for your enjoyment. I wasn't raised in a musical household and I never fell into fandom of any one genre growing up. As a kid you might hear classic pop oldies, Willie Nelson, or classical music pumping in my ears at any time. The 80's and 90's saw that eclectic blend expand via Garth, Reba, the entire Seattle grunge scene, Boys 2 Men, as they all left an impact. As I got older and began to write my own material I found the Andy's *(Peterson and Gullahorn), Derek Webb, and Rich Mullins left their fingerprint on my creative process. Lately it's Needtobreathe, Tyler Childers, and Chris Stapleton that really catch my ear. I'm always looking for a way to put into words the feelings that I think will move your heart or your mind. Sometimes the writing is just me needing to process out loud what is happening in me. Regardless, I appreciate you taking the time to come here and check out my passion.
